Privacy Policy

PLUMB helps customers and crews manage renovation expenses, receipts and settlements together. This policy explains what data is processed, why it is needed and how you can manage it.

PLUMB does not sell users' personal data.

1. General

This Privacy Policy applies to the PLUMB mobile application and describes how information is processed when the app is used.

PLUMB is designed for customers, contractors and construction crews to work together with renovation project data, expenses, receipts and settlements.

2. Data we process

Account data

  • name or display name;
  • email address;
  • internal user identifier;
  • data required for authentication and session management;
  • when signing in with Google or Yandex, data that the selected service provides to PLUMB as part of that authentication flow.

Project and expense data

  • project names, addresses and other details entered by the user;
  • expense titles, amounts, dates, categories, comments and statuses;
  • labor-payment and payment-confirmation data;
  • information about connected crews, access codes and project participants;
  • visibility settings for individual records.

Photos and user content

Users can attach receipt photos and other images to expenses. PLUMB receives only the materials that the user chooses or captures for upload.

Notifications

If push notifications are allowed, the app may receive and store a technical device push token required to deliver notifications. Permission can be revoked in device settings.

Technical data

PLUMB and its technical infrastructure may process limited technical information required to operate, secure and diagnose the service, such as session, network-request and technical-error information.

3. How data is used

Data is used as needed to operate PLUMB, including to:

  • create and maintain user accounts;
  • provide authentication and session security;
  • create renovation projects and maintain expense history;
  • connect crews to projects using access codes and enforce participant permissions;
  • store and display receipt photos;
  • record and confirm labor payments;
  • generate PDF reports;
  • deliver notifications when the user has granted permission;
  • maintain application stability, prevent abuse and resolve technical errors.

4. Collaboration and access by other users

PLUMB is a collaboration tool, so some information within a project may be visible to other project participants.

  • project data is available to participants who have the appropriate access;
  • expenses are visible to the customer and to participants who are allowed to see them based on role and visibility settings;
  • labor-payment data and its status are available to the parties involved in that settlement;
  • individual records may be hidden from a contractor or selected crews according to visibility settings.

Access is determined by the user's role, permissions and visibility settings within each project.

5. Third-party services

PLUMB does not provide personal data to other companies for sale or for their own advertising purposes.

Information may also be disclosed when required by applicable law or a lawful request from an authorized public authority.

6. Data retention

Data is retained while needed to operate the account and PLUMB features, or until it is deleted by the user, unless longer retention is required for technical or legal reasons.

After deletion, limited information may remain temporarily in backups and technical systems until the normal deletion cycle is completed.

7. Receipt photos and user content

Users decide what photos, comments and other materials to upload to PLUMB.

Before uploading, users should make sure the material does not contain third-party personal data they are not entitled to share with other project participants.

Uploaded materials are displayed according to the app's access permissions and visibility settings.

8. Security

Information is protected using authentication, database-level access controls and secure network connections. PLUMB does not store user passwords in plain text.

No method of internet storage or transmission can guarantee absolute security.

9. Account and data deletion

In the app, go to:

Profile → Account management → Delete account

After confirmation, the PLUMB account and associated data are deleted in accordance with this Policy, and the user is signed out of the app.

If you no longer have access to the app, you can request deletion of your account and associated data through the public deletion page or by emailing plumb.sprt@gmail.com.

10. User rights

Depending on applicable law, users may have rights to obtain information about processed data, correct it, delete data and their account, revoke system permissions and contact us about personal-data processing.

11. Children's data

PLUMB is not specifically directed to children and is not designed as a children's service.

12. International processing

Technical infrastructure providers may process data on servers located outside the user's country. Such processing is subject to applicable requirements and the relevant provider's terms and safeguards.

13. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when PLUMB features, technical services or legal requirements change. The current version is published on this page and the update date is shown above.
